While we appreciate the classic donut reticle, the single 1 MOA dot provides several advantages over the traditional donut of death. For some users, the donut reticle can appear too cluttered, occupying a significant portion of the viewing window. The single dot, on the other hand, minimizes coverage of smaller targets, whether they are close or distant. Unlike most red dot reticles, which are 2 MOA or larger and tend to bloom more, the smaller 1 MOA dot reduces this effect, offering improved precision, especially for those with astigmatism.
