Federal law and North Carolina state law place certain restrictions on who can legally handle firearms, even at a supervised indoor gun range. Before visiting Weapon Works LLC at 4325 State Highway 49 in Burlington, NC, please review our citizenship and identification requirements below to make sure you're eligible to use the range.

All shooters at Weapon Works must present a valid, government-issued photo ID upon check-in. U.S. citizens may use a valid driver's license, state-issued ID card, military ID, or U.S. passport. Lawful permanent residents (green card holders) are welcome to use the range and should be prepared to present their permanent resident card along with a government-issued photo ID.

Non-immigrant aliens and visitors on certain visa types may be subject to additional federal restrictions under the Gun Control Act. If you are a foreign national or visiting the United States on a temporary visa, please call us in advance at 800-556-9498 so we can confirm whether you are eligible to use the range and let you know what documentation to bring. Some non-immigrant visa holders may need to provide additional documentation, such as a hunting license or other ATF-recognized exemption.

Anyone who is legally prohibited from possessing a firearm under federal or North Carolina law — including individuals with certain criminal convictions, those subject to active restraining orders, and others restricted by law — is not permitted to shoot at our range under any circumstances.

If you have any questions about whether you're eligible to use the range, please contact us before your visit by calling 800-556-9498 or stopping by the shop at 4325 State Highway 49, Burlington, NC 27215. We'll do our best to help you understand the requirements and make your visit as smooth as possible.
