Safety is the number one priority at Weapon Works LLC. Our facility rules are designed to keep every shooter, guest, and staff member safe while creating a welcoming environment for everyone — from first-time visitors to seasoned competitors. Please read through our rules carefully before your visit, and don't hesitate to ask one of our Range Safety Officers if you have any questions when you arrive.

All shooters at our Burlington, NC indoor gun range are expected to follow these basic safety rules at all times: always treat every firearm as if it is loaded; always keep the muzzle pointed downrange in a safe direction; always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot; and always be sure of your target and what is beyond it. These four universal firearms safety rules are non-negotiable inside our facility.

While on the range, eye and ear protection are required at all times — no exceptions. Loaner eye and ear protection are available at the front counter if you don't bring your own. Only one shooter is permitted per lane unless you are directly supervising a minor or a new shooter. Firearms must remain unloaded and cased or holstered until you are at your assigned lane and ready to shoot. All shooting must be done from within the lane stall, with the muzzle pointed downrange at the target. Drawing from a holster, rapid fire, double-taps, and similar advanced techniques may be restricted to certain lanes or members only — please ask staff before attempting.

Ammunition restrictions apply for the safety of our equipment and shooters. We do not permit steel-core, armor-piercing, tracer, incendiary, or reloaded ammunition. Please see our Prohibited Items page for the full list of restricted ammunition and gear. We sell approved ammunition on-site if you're unsure whether yours is allowed.

General conduct: no horseplay, no alcohol or drugs (anyone appearing impaired will be asked to leave), no food or drinks on the range itself (these are welcome in our lobby and retail area), and no photography or video recording on the range without staff approval. Please clean up after yourself and dispose of brass and trash in the designated containers. Treat fellow shooters and staff with respect — we're all here to enjoy the shooting sports.

Range Safety Officers have full authority to enforce these rules and may ask any shooter to leave the range for unsafe behavior, refusal to follow instructions, or any conduct that puts others at risk. Memberships and lane fees are non-refundable in cases of rule violations.

If you have questions about any of our facility rules before your visit, please call us at 800-556-9498 or stop by the shop at 4325 State Highway 49, Burlington, NC 27215. We're happy to walk you through anything you're unsure about.
